It's amazing how often I'm able to really peek into one's personality or a family's bond just in an hour long photo session. Smiles, body language, nervousness (sometimes at the beginning), bonds, love, emotion, anticipation - there's always something I take away with me that helps me to know my clients a little more.

When I'm able to capture an inner sparkle, depth of feeling, bit of character, or sweet shyness of the person behind the lens, I feel the greatest joy. I walk away knowing that I've been a small part of something special - freezing in time the beauty that is unique to each and every one of us.

Opening a session for the first time in preparation of the editing process is always like opening a brand new gift. I get to relive the emotion in the images capturing your brand new engagement, senior year, milestone birthday, or wedding day, even before you do. I count it an honor in retelling your story in a way that recolors your memories for years and years to come.

I am a Christ follower, a wife and a mother. Bo, Conner, Tye and Marlee are my favorite humans on the planet. My dachshunds, Simon and Millie bring daily laughter and unconditional love like only a fur baby can. If we're not yet friends, I so look forward to when that's what we become.
